Remexx was born out of the closure of Remploy Blackburn.
The new company shares the values of Remploy and employs people with disabilities and complex barriers to work, but is privately funded and operated.
Remexx makes robust and interesting education furniture and, through its distribution network, supplies primary and secondary schools, colleges and academies.
The product range, which includes tables and desks, is designed to take heavy use over a long lifetime.
Remexx is building on the excellent reputation of its predecessor for building strong, long-lasting and well-designed classroom furniture and has captured those skills by a combination of direct employment and working partnerships with other independent businesses that have regenerated since the closure of Remploy Furniture Group.
